Adam James Bowling, 86, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital Main, Lexington.  He was born October 24, 1938 in Leslie County, KY to the late Eli Bowling and Fay Feltner.  He attended Gateway Church of God and a veteran of the United States Air Force.  He retired from Rockwell International after 26 years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Adams Bowling of Mt. Sterling, KY; son, Jamie Bowling (Michelle) of Richmond, KY; sisters, Veronica Canter of Mt. Sterling, KY, Anna Lee Thompson of Pikeville, KY, Gail Leach of Georgetown, KY, Karen Donithan (Larry) of Richmond, KY, Kathy Hiler (Charlie) of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Gloria Maddox (Phil) of Richmond, KY; and a grandchild, Evan James Bowling.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Reba Bowling; and a brother, Gary Bowling.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, December 30, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Cole officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12 PM-1 PM, Monday, December 30, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Chester Rogers, Michael Boyd Thompson, Mike Hobbs, Larry Donithan, Charlie Hiler and Phil Maddox.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
