Adron Spencer, 85, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Care. He was born October 5, 1935 to the late Henry Allen and Nina Bailey Spencer. He was a veteran of the Air Force and was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church of Lexington, where he served as a minister for 41 years before retiring.  .

He is survived by one son, Mark Spencer (Levana) of Georgetown, KY; one brother, Darrell Spencer of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sisters, Lucy Spencer (Kenneth) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Lois Anderson (Willard) of Mt. Sterling, KY; three grandchildren, Johnathon Dillion Spencer, Erica Redden and Erin Teasley; and one great grandson, Johnathon Luke Spencer.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, John Roger Spencer; four brothers, Manuel Spencer, Delbert Spencer, Norman Spencer and Lester Spencer; and one sister, Oleda MacIntosh.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday, November, 23 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling with Rev. Rick Stafford officiating, burial following at Benson-Craig Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11 AM-1 PM, Monday, November 23, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling.  Pallbearers will be Mark Spencer and Dillion Spencer.
