Alicia Guerra 86, born in 1934, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at her home in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky surrounded by her loving family. Alicia was a proud and faithful servant to God. Because of her devotion to the Lord, her entire family came to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Alicia was a prayer warrior and projected hope and peace to those around her. She devoted her life to her family, especially to her beloved husband of 63 years. Their marriage was one that every couple strives to emulate, a true transcendent love.

Alicia is survived by her beloved husband, Mario Guerra, in addition to her 5 children, Alicia Guerra, Mayra Schwarz, Mireya Whitaker, Mario Guerra II, Alejandro Guerra and their respective spouses, as well as 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be a private family funeral Friday December 4, 2020. Funeral arrangements will be provided by Taul Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Mario Guerra (son), Alejandro Guerra (son), Jonathan Schwarz (grandson), Alex Schwarz (grandson), Isaac Colliver (grandson), Alex Whitaker (grandson). Honorary pallbearers will be Arturo Schwarz (son-in-law) and Steve Whitaker (son-in-law).
