Anthony D. Long, 72, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at his residence.  He was born June 24, 1951 in Daviss County, KY to the late Ollie Sherman and Viola Mae Martin Long.  He was a retired photographer, Army Veteran and a Kentucky Patriot Guard Rider.

He is survived by his wife, Debbi Purri Burns Long of Winchester, KY; sons, Nicholas Scott Long (Anita), Christopher Long, Jason Long, Joey Burns (Allison) and Richard Burns (Jewell) all of Colorado Springs, CO; a daughter, Julie Clark of Stanton, KY; brother, Michael Long (Lynne) of Trussville, AL; sisters, Donna Snowden (Rodney) of Jeffersonville, KY, Dianne Wood (Dan) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Karen Denise Hoskins of Mt. Sterling, KY; and eleven grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Alan Hoskins.

A graveside service will be held 1:30 PM, Friday, December 29, 2023 with Jimmy A. Adams officiating at Camp Nelson Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Legion Post #22, P.O. Box 1096, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.
