Arlie Kenneth Spencer, 85, of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Windsor Care Center.  He was born March 7, 1936 to the late Bennie Valen and Mary Lou Sorrell Spencer.  He was a member of Christian Assembly of God and a Carpenter for Walker Construction.  He was the widower of Lucy Spencer .

He is survived by two sons, Terry Wayne Spencer of Lexington, KY and Johnny Dale Spencer (Rosa) of Jeffersonville, KY; a brother, J.B. Spencer of Ezel, KY; a sister, Arlene Williams of Menifee County, KY; three step-grandchildren, Brian Ward (Lisa) of Winchester, KY, Gregory Ward of Salyersville, KY and Renee Brewer of Salyersville, KY; and step-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by brothers, Lonnie Spencer, Ansel Spencer and Jackie Spencer; and a sister, Katherine Spencer Williams.

A funeral service will be held 12 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Hale officiating, burial following at Spencer Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11-12 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Kevin Howard, Brian Ward, Willard Anderson, Johnny Spencer and Terry Spencer.
