Arthur Spencer, Jr., 82, of Camargo Road, Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on May 17, 1937 the son of the late Arthur and Mattie Agee Spencer. He was a retired employee of Jockey International and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Helen King Spencer of Mt. Sterlng; one son, Arthur "Buddy" Spencer, III of Mt. Sterling, KY; two daughters, Debbie (Leonard) Martin of Mt. Sterlng and Michelle (Eric) Hash of Lexington, KY; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Wayne Spencer; three brothers, Cecil Spencer, Edison Spencer and Kenneth Spencer and one sister, Elizabeth Tincher.

Private graveside services will be held at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Bros. William "Hoss" Prater, Kevin Strausbaugh and Jim Skidmore officiating. Pallbearers will be Eric Hash, Christian Hash, Spencer Hash, Leonard Martin, Adam Grubb and Eligh Steagall. Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Spencer, IV, Alec Spencer, Colton Crump and Billy Riddle. Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
