Barbara Howard Taulbee, 62, of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, KY.  She was born November 2, 1961 in Winchester, KY to the late James and Irene Brooks Howard.  She attended Son Light Baptist Church in Wolfe County, KY.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Scottie Taulbee in Mt. Sterling, KY; sons, Anthony Watkins of Mt. Sterling, KY and Christopher Taulbee (Sara) of Sharpsburg, KY; daughters, Shana Watkins (James Curtis) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Jacquelyn Williamson (Nicholas) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Tonya Carr of Alabama and Shyann Nicole King of Mt. Sterling, KY; brothers, Harold Wayne Howard of Stanton, KY and Darrell Howard of Means, KY; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jo Howard.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jack Smith officiating, burial following at Taulbee Family Cemetery in Sharpsburg, KY.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Josh King, Ruben Ramirez, Scottie Ferguson, Zachary Craft, Gabriel Taulbee, Josh Taulbee and Anthony Watkins.
