Barbara Kay Woodard Thomas, 76, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away July 10, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospital Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

She was born January 25, 1948, the daughter of Lee and Carrie Woodard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clinton Woodard and Gary Woodard.

Barbara is survived by two children, Valarie (Rodney) Donathan and Chris (Trish) Willoughby; three grandchildren, Matthew Willoughby, Nicholas Willoughby and Samantha Willoughby; and three great grandchildren, Zaiden Means, Kainon Means and Audrey Willoughby.

Other survivors include her brothers and sisters, Pam (Stanley) Gibbs, Donna (Tommy) Evans, Anna Dalton, Arlene Harvey, David Woodard, Larry Woodard, Jean Sparks, Emma Armitage and Connie (Terry) Morris.

Barbara liked to paint, sew and work in the yard, taking pride in her flowers.

A memorial service will be held July 13, 2024 at 1 PM at the Means Community Miracle Church in Means, Kentucky.
