Benny Petitt, 80, of Sharpsburg passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at University of Kentucky Hospital Lexington.  He was born March 30, 1940 to the late Millard and Virginia Guy Petitt.  He was a Restaurant Owner, Used Car Salesman and a Rental Property Owner.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Lee Hayes Petitt of Sharpsburg, KY; one son, Mike Petitt of Sharpsburg, KY; one brother, Allie "Buddy" Petitt (Marie) of Sharpsburg, KY; and one sister, Christine Tull of Cincinnati, OH.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death five brothers, Bill Petitt, James Petitt, Edgar Petitt, Bob Petitt and Junior Petitt.

A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Monday, September 21, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lloyd Latimer officiating, burial following Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Millard Petitt, III, Roy Overholser, Steve Petitt, Bill Clemmons, Edgar Jones, and Dickie Hawkins.
