Betty Jane Calvert, 85, of Mt. Sterling passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 at her residence.  She was born October 10, 1935 to the late Herman and Edith Clay Wilson Becraft.  She retired after 25 years of service from Walmart.

She is survived by four sons, Steve Calvert (Regina) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Tim Calvert (Tammy) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Mark Calvert (Holly) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Joseph Saunders (Amber) of Jeffersonville, KY; three daughters, Connie Smith (Joe) of Hillsboro, KY,  Debbie Puckett of Mt. Sterling, KY and Genea Arrasmith (Phil) of Mt. Sterling, KY; two brothers, Sonny Becraft (Mary Bell) of Georgetown, OH and Raymond Becraft of Georgetown, OH; one sister, Sue McKibben of Georgetown, OH; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Thomas Calvert, Jr.

A funeral will be held 1 PM, Monday, August 9, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jordan Wade officiating, burial following with a private family committal.  Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Monday, August 9, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Chad McKibben, Bobby Calvert, Keith Gilvin, Chris Thomas, Tommy Saunders and Keith Burge.  In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Love of Paws, 1122 Bunker Hill Road, Mt.
