Betty Helton Crain Deck, 93, of Fletcher Ridge Road, Frenchburg passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the St. Joseph-Mt. Sterling Hospital.  She was born in Denniston, Kentucky on February 20, 1928 the daughter of the late Samuel and Rose Frisby Helton.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, David F. Deck of Frenchburg, KY; a daughter, Joan (Steven E.) Carter of Frenchburg, KY; a granddaughter, Ashley Carter; a step grandson, David Deck, III and a host of cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Adams and Carma Trimble; two brothers, Harlan E. Helton and Orval Helton; a daughter, Brenda S. Crain DeHart; a granddaughter, Sonya Rudd; and grandson, Scotty DeHart; and a stepson, David Deck II.

A private memorial service will be Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Frenchburg with Rev. Mike Sexton officiating and burial following in the Helton Cemetery.
