Betty Linville Orme, 89, of Old Owingsville Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Clark Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on October 2, 1931 the daughter of the late Roy and Virginia Jordan Linville, Sr.  She was a salesperson at J. C. Penney's and the Christmas House and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Sterling.  She was the widow of William Perry Orme.

She is survived by a son, Bedford "Perry" (Lisa) Orme of Mt. Sterling; three daughters, Annette (Steven) Cabe of Tiger, GA, Anita (Kenny) Roberts and Judith "Judy" (Rob) Caudill both of Mt. Sterling;  a sister in law, Sara Jane Orme of Owingsville, KY; seven grandchildren, Shauna (Chris) Rigsby, Jennifer Caudill, Amy McClain, Matthew (Kim) Cabe, Lauren (Brandon) Waddell, Michael Cabe, and Samantha Roberts; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Linville, Jr., one sister, Ruby Yazell, and many close friends.

Services will be 10 AM, Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Patterson officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery  Friends may visit Saturday at the First United Methodist Church from 9 -10 am.  Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the First United Methodist Church of Mt. Sterling Building Fund.
