Betty Richards Toy, 80, of Owingsville passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at her residence.  She was born January 30, 1943 in Mt. Sterling to the late Oscar and Madge Manley Richards.  She attended East Willow Street Church of God in Scottsville, KY.

She is survived by a son, Randy Toy (Janet) of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughter, Marla Gilvin (Duane) of Mt. Sterling, KY; sister, Julia Nikitas of Florida; sister-n-law, Phyllis Toy of Mt. Sterling, KY; grandchildren, Hannah Patrick (Andrew), Shelby Center (Keith), Austin Gilvin and Tyler Gilvin; and great-grandchildren, Audrey Patrick and Rhett Center.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Toy; a brother, Doug Richards; and sisters, Mary Lynn, Ruby Rice, Bessie Richards and Dorothy Richards.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, August 18, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lowell Rice officiating, burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Friday, August 18, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Anthony Rice, Steve Richards, Michael Richards, Marcus Richards, Keith Center, Andrew Patrick, Tyrone Lynn and Michael Shoffner.  Honorary pallbearers Luke Shirley, Mason Shirley, Dwane Rice and John Toy.
