Billie Jo Johnson, 68, of Frenchburg passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Edgewood Estates.  She was born December 23, 1952 to the late John Roy and Bertha Mae Ingram Lawson, Sr.  She was a retired employee of Walmart.

She is survived by one son, Edward Johnson (Paula) of Frenchburg, KY; three daughters, Bobbie Morgan (Tim) of Ohio, Betty Jo Johnson of Monticello, KY and Bertie Massengill (Paul) of Frenchburg, KY; one sister, Wanda Hale (John) of Frenchburg, KY; twelve grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son, Matthew Johnson; one brother, Jon Roy Lawson, Jr.,  and two sisters, Ruby Watkins and Alice Ellis.

Funeral Services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Pastor David Hale officiating, burial following at Patrick Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11-1 PM, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Travis Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Paul Massengill, John Hale, Matthew Hale and Richard Murphy.
