Bobby Keaton Jones, 86, of Owingsville passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at Ridgeway Nursing Home in Owingsville, KY.  He was born May 16, 1937 in Bath County, KY to the late Oliver Jones and Dorothy Warner.  He was a Farmer, a member of Sugar Grove Christian Church and of Eastern Kentucky Draft Horse Association.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherry Sorrell (Freddie) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Kelle Rigg (Trey) of Maysville, KY; a sister, Faye Warren of Lexington, KY; a sister-in-law, Linda Jones of Ashland, KY; grandchildren, Andrew Sorrell (Emily) of Owingsville, KY, Casey Watkins (Jesse) of Jeffersonville, KY, Gared Rigg of Maysville, KY and Delana Rigg of Maysville, KY; great-grandchildren, Rylee and Navy Watkins of Jeffersonville, KY and Wilder Sorrell of Owingsville, KY; several nieces and nephews; and special cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Noami Watkins Jones; a son, Doug Jones; brothers, Edward Lee Jones, Ronald Jones and Roger Jones; and a grandson, Christopher Jones

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, August 14, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Francis Nash officiating, burial following at Owingsville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 4-6 PM, Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Andrew Sorrell, Gared Rigg, Kenneth Garrett, Randy Coyle, Charlie Willoughby and Richard Willoughby.  Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Orme, Mike Orme, Clint Orme, Charlie Orme, Junior Stull, Woody Stull, Destill Stigall, Nancy Truskowski, Evelyn Asher, Jim May, Sherry May, Elizabeth Setters and Edwin Burden.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sugar Grove Christian Church, 3841 Stepstone Road, Owingsville, KY 40360.
