Bonnie Ruth Barnett, age 78, of Montgomery County passed away peacefully at her home on August 29, 2020.  She was born April 23, 1942 in Carlisle, Kentucky to the late Leslie and Ruth Brewer.  She was the widow of Marvin Barnett.  She was a member of the Reid Village Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening.

Bonnie is survived by three sons, Marvin Lee Barnett, Darvin Clay Barnett and Scott (Tara) Barnett; a daughter, Angela (Mike) Goodlett; one brother, Randall (Wilma) Brewer; two sisters, Darlene Brewer and Donna Pendleton; three sister-in-laws, Carol Brewer, Joyce Brewer and Glenna Barnett; one brother-in-law, Charles Corey; four grandchildren, Caroline Barnett, Christine Barnett, Meyrick Barnett and Jennilee Barnett; one great grandchild, Carter Lockhart and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by twins, Diane and Duane Barnett; a granddaughter, Kathryn Ruth Goodlett; brothers, James Brewer and Leslie Brewer, Jr. and sister, Ella Mae Corey.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Wiley officiating and burial following in the Machpelah Cemetery.  Friends may visit Tuesday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers wll be Mike Goodlett, Meyrick Barnett, Allan Pendleton, Randy Brewer, Lee Corey and Darvin Barnett.
