Bonnie C. Jones, 76, of Stepstone Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 5, 2020 at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  She was born in Montgomery County, Kentucky on October 25, 1943 the daughter of the late Stanley Kirk Schooler and Pearl Greene Schooler.  She was retired Deputy Jailer with 25 years service at Montgomery County Regional Jail and retired assembly worker at A. O. Smith with 18 years service.  She was a member of the Sugar Grove Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Jones of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sons, Greg Jones of Mt. Sterling and Darren (Angie) Jones of Mt. Sterling; a brother, Steve (Kathy) Schooler of Mt. Sterling; and five grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Sugar Grove Christian Church with Rev. Francis Nash officiating and burial following in the Jones Farm Cemetery, 2201 Stepstone Road, Mt. Sterling.  Friends may visit Monday from 5 pm - 8 pm at the Sugar Grove Christian Church.  Pallbearers will be Brandon Ferguson, Hayden Jones, Stacy Donathan, Dale Miller, Alex Carlucci and Gary Miller.  Honorary pallbearers will be Darren Jones and Greg Jones.   Taul Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
