Brenda Kay Willoughby, 70, of Larkwood Dr., Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at the St. Joseph-Mt. Sterling Hospital.  She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on August 8, 1951 the daughter of the late Delbert and Ida Willoughby Martin.  She was a homemaker and the widow of Larry Willoughby.

She is survived by a son, Brian (Crystal) Willoughby of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Donald Martin of Mt. Sterling and Timothy Martin of Jeffersonville, KY; three sisters, Linda (James) Anderson of Sharpsburg, KY, Mona Martin of Jeffersonville, KY and Tina (Ricky) Brooks of Mt. Sterling; and two grandchildren, Zachary Willoughby and Whitney Willoughby.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Wayne Martin and two sisters, Carolyn Willoughby and Kathy McCarty.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Rev. Phillip Means officiating and burial following in the Martin Cemetery.  Friends may visit Thursday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling.  Pallbearers will be Wayne Rawlins, Jesse Willoughby, Matt Churchwell, Joey Byrd, T J Coldiron and Shawn Craig.
