Carl F. Barnett, 62, of Jeffersonville passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at his residence.  He was born June 10, 1960 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Buford and Virginia Nelson Barnett.  He was a stock clerk at Kroger for many years, he collected coins and match box cars, a Civil War buff and loved to fish.

He is survived by his sister, Connie Stewart (Johnny) of Stanford, KY; niece, Chandra Peake (Randall Myers) of Georgetown, KY; great niece, Olivia Peake of Lexington, KY; great nephews, Elijah Peake and Ian Peake, both of Georgetown, KY; special friends, Phillip Oakley, Chuck Jones, Tony Terry and Marty Lewis; and his dog, Skeeter.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Mary Barnett.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, May 26, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Latimer officiating, burial following at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12 PM-1 PM, Friday, May 26, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Phillip Oakley, Chuck Jones, Olivia Peake, Danny Holland, Marty Lewis, Ken Woosley and James Moore.  In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Macedonia Baptist Church, 5057 Levee Road, Mt. Sterling, KY.
