Carol Eloise Moore Chandler, 83, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at St. Joseph Hospital Mt. Sterling.  She was born October 20, 1940 in Mt. Sterling to the late Bigstaff "Buck" and Bethel Crockett Moore.  She worked as a tax preparer for a CPA office and then as a retail clerk for Walmart.

She is survived by daughter Courtney Strange (William) of Jeffersonville, KY; and two grandchildren, Madison Strange and Mason Strange.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Cramer Chandler; brother, Charles Blankenship; and sister, Helen Nolan.

A funeral service will be held 12 PM, Monday, September 23, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wendell Clevenger officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be William Strange, Mason Strange, Charlie Blankenship, Tim Blankenship, Chad Blankenship and P.J. Blankenship.  Honorary pallbearers her Walmart family.
