Carolyn "Susie" Cox, 77, of Frenchburg passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at St. Claire Regional Hospital.  She was born April 2, 1945 to the late David Bowman and Lena Lovelace Bowman.  She was a 4-H Agent, school board member for many years, former Mayor of Frenchburg, member of Gateway Add Commission and self-employed owner of Susie's Flower Shop for over forty years.

She is survived by three sons, Rick Cox (Joyce) of Wellington, KY, Todd Cox (Cheryl) Cox of Salt Lick, KY and Mike Cox of Frenchburg, KY; six grandchildren, Morgan Cox (Katie), Zachary Cox (Breanna), Troyal Cox (Skylar), Isiah Cox, Neveah Cox and Cloe Terrill; three great grandchildren, Noah Lee, Mason Lee and Dallas Wells; and long-time friend Phyllis Lawson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Pelfrey.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Pastor Wayne Myers officiating, burial following at Pomeroyton Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Morgan Cox, Zachary Cox, Troyal Cox, Isiah Cox, Clifford Sexton and Larry Bowman.
