Carolyn Sue "Susie" Jones, 68, of Mt. Sterling passed away Monday, July 18, 2022 at University of Kentucky Hospital.  She was born April 29, 1954 in Magoffin County, KY to the late Randolph P. Risner and Katherine Gullett. She was a caregiver and homemaker, she loved family gathers, camping out, friends and children, and very passionate about cleaning.

She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Sue Vice of Mt. Sterling, KY and Katherine "Shelly" Jones; special friend Floyd Braham of Mt. Sterling, KY; a sister, Sandra Perkins of West Liberty, KY; two grandchildren, Macy Staton and Jacklyn Jones; a dear friend and father of her children, Jackie (Surena Kay) Jones of Mt. Sterling, KY; and a beloved dog, Bella.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by siblings, Tom Ray Risner, Carl Jay Risner, Betty Rose Risner Markland; and a dog, Maggie.

Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Evans officiating, burial following at Moore Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 12-2 PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Freddie Donaldson, Carl Gray, Nicky Vice, Taran Edwards, Jamie Perkins, Donald Anderson, Billy Mack Caudill, Tony Bates and Justin Braham.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Kay Jones, Willie Sizemore and Toddie Gibson.  In lieu of flowers, donations can made to Taul Funeral Homes, 109 East Main Street, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353 toward the funeral expenses.
