Cathy Ellen Lawson Amos, 68, of Frenchburg, KY passed away Friday, January 10, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital London.  She was born September 30, 1956 in Frenchburg, KY to the late Virgil and Edna Merrell Berry Lawson.  She attended Means Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula Johnson of Frenchburg, KY; brothers, Mark Lawson (Erma Groves) of Menifee Co., KY, Tony Lawson (Christie McKinney) of Pikeville, KY and Jack Lawson (Tina) of Frenchburg, KY; sisters, Karen Huff of Frenchburg, KY, Sue Lawson of Morehead, KY, Elaine Bentley (Doug) of Morehead, KY, Janey Wells of Menifee Co., KY and Rebecca Greene (Tony) of Frenchburg, KY; sister-in-law, Kay Lawson; grandchildren, Adrianna Amos, Victoria Kennedy, Nicole Thomas (Keaton) and Christopher Johnson; great grandchildren, Raylen Thomas and Oaklen Thomas.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Amos; son, Samuel Preston Amos; brothers, Ted Lawson and Troy Lawson; sister, Doris Botts; and brother-in-law, Dallas Huff.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, January 17, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Pastor Joey Rogers officiating, burial following at Barker Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1PM, Friday, January 17, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Kody Noble, Jeffrey Wallace, Zach Asher, Nathan Asher, Patrick Greene and Troy J. Lawson.
