Charlene Norton, 82, of Owingsville passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Ridgeway Nursing Home in Owingsville, KY.  She was born March 20, 1942 in Breathitt County, KY to the late George and Tyeman Brashear.  She was of the Lutheran Faith.

She is survived by brother, David Brashear; sister, Diana Taylor, Virginia Brashear and Debbie Willis; grandchildren, Leslie McCarty (Christian), Heather Callis (Tony) and Danielle Ingram; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd J. Norton; son, Floyd D. Norton; sisters, Mary Blackburn and Georgia Frederick; and brothers, James Brashear and Charles Brashear.
