Charles D. Gibson, Jr., 42, of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at University of Kentucky Healthcare.  He was born May 11, 1978 to Georgia Thornsburg Gibson and the late Charles Douglas Gibson Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Brittany Barnett of Montgomery County; his mother, Georgia Thornsburg Gibson of Means, KY ; one son, Damien W. Gibson of Montgomery County; one daughter, Carrie Gibson of Means, KY; and one sister, Melissa Davis (Jerry) of Frenchburg, KY.

A graveside service will be held 1 PM, Sunday, September, 13, 2020 at Gibson Family Cemetery with Larry Patton officiating.  Visitation will be held 11-12 PM, Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be his son and uncles.
