Charles Anthony Johnson, 60, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Clark Regional Hospital. He was born April 16, 1966 in Jackson, KY to the late Albert Johnson and Evon Thomas Johnson. He attended Camargo Freewill Baptist Church and worked for World Wide Equipment in Lexington, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Johnson of Jeffersonville, KY; sons, Byron Johnson (Theresa) of Jackson, KY, Travis Johnson (Ashley) of Jackson, KY and Dakota Johnson (Tiffany) of Lexington, KY; a daughter, Wanda Nicole Johnson of Jackson, KY; brothers, Cecil Johnson (Phyllis), Walter Johnson, Ed Johnson and Lee Johnson (Reda), all of Jackson, KY; sisters, Becky Fugate, Carolyn Sue Fugate (Bob), Julia Hall and Maxine Parks, all of Jackson, KY; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a special great granddaughter, Daya Curtis.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Julius Johnson; and sisters, Nellie Johnson, Betty McIntosh, Mary Neal and Wilma Barney.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Sterling with Pastor Lee Johnson officiating, burial following at Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12 PM-1 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
