Charles E. Sandlin, 80, of Walton, KY passed away Monday, December 15, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.  He was born May 26, 1945 in Clay County, KY to the late Henry and Gracie Hensley Sandlin.  He attended Camargo Church of God and worked for the Lance Company in Sales.  He loved to fish and spend time with family.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Sandlin of Walton, KY; a daughter, Camille Croweak (Adam) of Walton, KY; brothers, William Sandlin (Pamela) of Nicholasville and Harvey Sandlin (Marcella) of Nicholasville, KY; sisters, Audrey Courtney of Lexington, KY, Edith Coyle of Lexington, KY, Mary Coyle of Ocala, FL, Shirley Smith (Larry) of Georgetown, KY, Brenda Patton (Paul) of Lancaster, KY and Linda Hart (Ted) of Richmond, IN; grandchildren, Samuel Croweak, Braelen Croweak and Sadie Croweak; and his dog, Bandit.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Donald Sandlin and Chester Sandlin; and a sister, Bonnie Goins.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Campbell and Rev. Aaron Conn officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-12 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Josh Otis, Kash Otis, Doug Coyle, Ed Dursi, Charles Cook and John Brown.  Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Reed, Ken Croweak, Samuel Croweak, Braelen Croweak, Dudley Stafford, Kenny Toy, Stan Lewis and Larry Smith.
