Charlotte J. Amburgey,78, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.  Born December 27, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas to the union of the late William Ford Adams and Frances Heaton Adams, Charlotte was the widow of the love of her life of 47 years, Marion "Doc" Amburgey. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Joe Adams and Timothy David Adams. She was a member of Eastland Church of God but a faithful worshipper of First Christian Church. She loved cookbooks, trying new recipes, a good meal, laughing, UK Basketball, but most of all her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Dee Dee Stilz (Spears) and Leigh Ann Amburgey; three grandchildren, Casey Greene (Robbie Davidson), Jacob Stilz and Hagan Stilz; a sister, Linda Bowling; and a brother, Larry Adams.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Scott Holley officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 10 AM-12 PM, Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Jamie Bowling, Spears Stilz, Jacob Stilz, Henry Joe Botts, Tony Douthitt, and Robbie Davidson.  Honorary pallbearers will be 2001-2012 MCHS Cafeteria Staff.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Christian Church, 222 W.
