Clifton Cramer Chandler, 81, of Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, March 25, 2022 at his residence.  He was born July 20, 1940 to the late Rev. Arthur Chandler and Martha Orme.  He retired from Big Lots after 20 years of service and worked at JC Penney in Men's Sales/Store Manager.  He played basketball for Mt. Sterling High School and loved to play golf.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol Moore Chandler of Mt. Sterling, KY; a daughter, Courtney Strange (William) of Jeffersonville, KY; a brother, Darvin Chandler of Mt. Sterling, KY; two sisters, Delores Allen (Woody) of Jeffersonville, KY and Joyce Craycraft of Mt. Sterling; and two grandchildren, Madison Strange and Mason Strange.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Albert Chandler, Clayton Chandler, Arthur Bernerd Chandler and Ronnie Chandler; and two sisters, Kay Patterson and Linda Chandler.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wendell Clevenger and Mark Chandler officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Jerry Long, Chuck Toy, Tucker Bailey, Richard Raney, Gary Chandler and Kyle Chandler.  Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Foster, Randy Craycraft, Woody Allen, Mark Chandler, Josh Chandler, Randy Cline, Mike Kosier, Kelle Mathews, John Von Behren, Bryan Craycraft and Vernon Coffey.
