Clyde Shrout, 84, of Frenchburg passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his residence.  He was born December 22, 1935 to the late Henry and Nettie McPherson Shrout.  He was a member of Mudlick First Church of God and a retired truck driver for Hobart.

He is survived by four sons, Tim Shrout (Maxine) of Frenchburg, KY, Wayne Ferrell (Helen) of Salt Lick, Ky, Danny Ferrell (Denise) of Salt Lick, KY and David Ferrell (Patty) of Owingsville, KY; two daughters, Sheila Hagerman (Jim) of Frenchburg, KY and Teresa Elam (William Slone) of Sharpsburg, KY; one sister, Carrie Miller of Frenchburg, KY; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Deloris Roberson Shrout; four brothers, Corbet Shrout, Willie Shrout, Courtney Shrout and Darrell Shrout; and five sisters, Elva McNabb, Atron Caudill, Jean Jones, Verna Mae Jump and Elsie Banks.

Funeral service will be held 1 PM, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Mudlick First Church of God with Pastor Mark Caldwell officiating, burial following at Shrout Ferrell Cemetery.  Visitation held 11-1 PM, Friday, August 28, 2020 at Mudlick First Church of God.  Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.  Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
