Daniel Brent Wells, 49, of McCausey Ridge, Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the St. Joseph Hospital-Mt. Sterling.  He was born in Mt Sterling, Kentucky on March 19, 1971 the son of Dannie and Betty Whitaker Wells.  He was a pipeliner for Price Gregory International and a member Means Baptisit Church.  He truly enjoyed the outdoors and  loved hunting, fishing and four wheeling with his children and family.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Ann Day Wells, of Frenchburg; his parents, Dannie and Betty Wells of Means; a son, Austin Kelly Wells of Frenchburg; a daughter, Ashlee Morgan Wells of Frenchburg; one brother, Chris (Jennifer) Wells of Frenchburg; father and mother in law, Billy and Mary Etta Day of Frenchburg; and sister and brother in laws, Sherrie and Joe Wells of Frenchburg and Bonnie and Wayne Murphy of Williamstown, KY; several uncles also survive.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at the Taul Funeral Home Chapel in Frenchburg with Pastor Joey Rogers officiating and burial following in the Wells Cemetery.  Friends may visit Thursday from 11 am - 1 pm at the Taul Funeral Home in Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Chris Wells, Tim Wells, Curt Wells, Kenny Wells, Todd Trimble, Mike Hall, David Wells and Josh Brown.  Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Burleson, Dannie Wells, Billy Day, Allen Reed Carson, Jordan Russell, Nathaniel Martin, Ethan Carson and Donnie Lindsey.
