Danny C. McClain, 74, of Morehead passed away Thursday, April 13, 2023 at University of Kentucky Medical Center.  He was born June 1, 1948 in Paris, KY to the late Clark and Ruth Roberts McClain.  He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, KY and he retired from US Forest Service.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie McClain of Morehead, KY; sons, Tracy McClain (Rebecca) of Hillsboro, KY and Chris McClain (Krista) of Frenchburg, KY; daughter, Lori Riley (Chad) of Olive Hill, KY; brothers, David McClain (Brenda) of Olive Hill, KY and Bill McClain (Sherri) of Olive Hill, KY; ten grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Danny McClain.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating, burial following at Jewell-Day-Combs Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Monday, April 17, 2023 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Tracy McClain, Chris McClain, Chad Riley, Madison Ferrell, Ben Ferrell, Jamie Baker and Gary Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill McClain and David McClain.
