Darlene W. Barnett, 74, of Jeffersonville passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her residence.  She was born April 11, 1947 in Montgomery County to the late William Clay and Lillie Abner Willoughby.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and retired from Montgomery County Board of Education as a Custodian.

She is survived by a son, Darrell Barnett (Tammy) of Jeffersonville, KY; two daughters, Amy Barnett Smith (JR) of Jeffersonville, KY and Lisa Barnett of Jeffersonville, KY; sister, Mary Anderson (Bobby) of Jeffersonville, KY; three grandchildren, Tyson Barnett (Kelly), Landon Smith and Lillie Smith; and one great grandchild, Rhett Allen Barnett.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Barry Barnett; two brothers, Albert Willoughby and Dillard Willoughby; and four sisters, Ida Mae Martin, Katleen Willoughby, Gracie Reddix and Geraldine Willoughby.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Brother, Kevin Strausbaugh officiating, burial following at Willoughby Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 10-12 PM, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Tyson Barnett, Monty Vivian, Brain Stanhope, Jack Segura, Donnie Martin and Jeff Willoughby.  Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Anderson, Larry Bishop, Omer Wilson, Lonnie Anderson, Richard Hughes, Mikki Reed, Tim Barnett, Kenny Ratliff, Mike Ratliff, Rhett Barnett, Landon Smith, Lillie Smith, JR Smith, Lucy Ratliff, Fern Reed, Donna Wilson, Kathy Craycraft and members of Macedonia Baptist Church.
