David Brooks Grayson, 77, of Mt. Sterling passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at University of Kentucky Hospital. He was born July 22, 1943 to the late Paul and Lucy Keller Grayson. He was a member of Peeled Oak Christian Church and retired for Kentucky Utilities as an Inspector.

He is survived by his wife Mary Haynes Grayson of Mt. Sterling, KY; one son, Timothy Grayson (Aimee) of Clay City, KY; one stepson, Ken Groen of Winchester, KY; one stepdaughter, Sheri Willoughby (Richard) of Mt. Sterling, KY; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Jones (Ben), Alena Jones (Phillip), Destinee Davis (Chad), Jordan Grayson, Landon Grayson (Sierra) and David Moore; eight great grandchildren, Jayden, Sophia, Peyton, Wyatt, Mattie, Ean, Jace and Layden; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Kimberly Grayson; and one sister, Pauline Fugate. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Friday, October 16, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020. Pallbearers will be Chad Davis, Jordan Grayson, Ken Groen, Phillip Jones and Ben Jones.
