David Crockett Scott, 69, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at his residence.  He was born May 13, 1955 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Weed Scott and Lucille Kirby.  He attended Macedonia Baptist Church and retired for Trane as a Welder after 27 years of service.  He loved to read and sports, especially the University of Kentucky Wildcats.

He is survived by brothers, Albert Scott (Dianna) of Bradenton, FL, James Harper Scott (Erika) of Lexington, KY, Monroe Scott (Carolyn) of Mason, OH, Larry Scott (Julie) of Okeechobee, FL and Bobby Ray Scott (Frances) of Winchester, KY; and sisters, Lorraine Baker (John) of Mt. Sterling, KY, Rebel Hall of Indianapolis, IN, Sadie Lee (Marion) of Eustis, FL and Sandra Lynn Scott of Mt. Sterling, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Carl Scott, Charles Scott and Ora Scott, Jr.; and a sister, Mattie Jewell Scott.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, March 28, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Todd Wiley officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Alan Scott, Jeff Baker, Geramie Ingram, Robert Baker, Josh Scott and Joey Craver.
