Delmar Clayton Kegley, 83, of Sharpsburg, KY passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Bluegrass Care and Rehabilitation, Lexington.  He was born January 14, 1941 in Lewis County, KY to the late Willard Kegley and Verna Howell.  He attended Church of God in Bucyrus, OH and served in U.S. Army.  He retired after 30 years from General Motors and was a Farmer.  He loved to make and builds things, gardening, carpentry, woodworking and making wooden puppets.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Faye Kegley of Sharpsburg, KY; sons, Kevin Duane Kegley of Morehead, KY and Keith Clayton Kegley (Kandi) of Sharpsburg; brothers, Eldon Kegley (Mary), Gary Kegley, Roger Kegley, Wade Kegley, Howard Kegley (Paula), Dennis Kegley and Bradley Kegley (Sharon); sisters; June McClung, Lorene Howard and Sharon Arnett; sister-in-law, Wilma Kegley; grandchildren, Haley Martinez (Ricky) of Lexington, KY and Taylor Kegley of Sharpsburg, KY; and great grandchildren, Atticus Martinez and Ezra Martinez.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Glenn Kegley (Ruby), Nelson Kegley; sisters-in-law, Esther Kegley, Kathy Kegley and Pam Kegley; and brother's-in-law, Mac McClung and Thomas Howard.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, December 9, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling with Pastor Grant Cannoy officiating, burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Monday, December 9, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling.  Pallbearers will be Chris Kegley, Chuck McCann, Jamie Kegley, Josh Kegley, Aaron Kegley and Bradley Keith Kegley.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
