Delores Ann (Sluss) Parsley, age 79 of Cynthiana, KY passed away on June 19, 2022, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY.

She was born September 3, 1942 in Martin County, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Dexter Sluss and Frances (Slone) Sluss.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Sluss; a sister, Carolyn Derossett; and her beloved husband, Floyd Parsley.

Delores was a retired educator and a member of the Kentucky Retired Teacher's Association.

Throughout her life, she was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all who knew her.  She was a devout Christian and a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church, Cynthiana, Kentucky.

She is survived by two sons, Mike Parsley (Brenda) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Brian Parsley of Frankfort, KY.  She leaves behind grandchildren, Craig Parsley, Sophia Parsley, Grant Parsley, Joshua Hughes and Amanda Scarbough (Matt); and two great-granddaughters, Charlee Mae and Hayden Alivia Scarbrough.

Visitation for Delores will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 11 AM-12 PM at Taul Funeral Homes, 109 E. Main Street Mt. Sterling, KY.  The funeral service will follow at 12 PM with Rev. Sam Chanslor officiating.  Burial will be after the service at Machpelah Cemetery, 600 Locust Street, Mt. Sterling, KY.  Pallbearers will be Mike Parsley, Brian Parsley, Craig Parsley, Grant Parsley, Joshua Hughes and Matt Scarbrough.
