Deloris I. Wells, 92, of Mt. Sterling passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 9, 1930 to the late William and Amanda Perkins King. She was a member of Grassy Lick United Methodist Church and a retired Montgomery County School Bus Driver.

She is survived by her husband, Rex Wells of Mt. Sterling, KY; son, Denzil Wells (Josie Trusty) of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughters, Libby Clark (Bill) of Winchester, KY and Glenda White; sister, Stella Mae Cunninghan of Cincinnati, OH; nine grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded death by son, Gary Wells; son-in-law, Ralph White; three brothers, Orvan King, Roger King and Roy King; and sister, Juanita Wells.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Grassy Lick United Methodist Church with Pastor Neil Salvaterra officiating, burial following at Grassy Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 12 PM at Grassy Lick United Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Ryan Wells, Joey Christopher, Michael Clark, Alex Parks, Tyler Clark, Ryan Parks and Randy Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Arnold Vice, Fred Mason, Jerry Cunningham and Russell B. Fitzpatrick.
