Dolores Kirby Williamson, 79, of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at her residence. She was born August 27, 1943 in McMinnville, TN to the late Fred S. and Kathyrn Mayfield Kirby. Mrs. Williamson was a member of First Church of God, along with being a very active member, she was involved with the youth group, choir and Dorcas Circle. She was the previous owner of Williamson Furniture, Mt. Sterling Recreation Bowl Candidate, Beta Club, Homemakers Club and First Lady of Mt. Sterling for 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Williamson of Mt. Sterling, KY; sons, Gary Williamson (Kelly) of Le Grange, KY; Greg Williamson (Julie) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Guy Williamson (Lauralee) of Lexington, KY; sisters, Joann Baldwin of Athens, OH, Betty McCarley of Hazel Green, AL and Kay French of Athens, OH; grandchildren, Grant Williamson, Kirby Metzinger (Sam), Josie Williamson, Anna Lake Williamson, Chloe Williamson, Ann-Marie Keesey (Evan), Tanner Williamson and Walker Williamson; and a great granddaughter, Anna Kate Keesey.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Buddy Kirby; and a grandson, Seth Williamson.

Funeral services will be held 12 PM, Friday, May 5, 2023 at First Church of God with Pastor David Dooley officiating, burial following at Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM-12 PM, Friday, May 5, 2023 at First Church of God. Pallbearers will be Brent Risner, Danny Linville, Charlie McVey, Nick Cannon, Mark Craycraft and Red Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be Heritage Class.
