Dora Lee Martin Skidmore, 73, of Means, KY passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at Windsor Care Center.  She was born April 2, 1949 to the late Ed Martin and Elsie Patton Martin in Montgomery County, KY.  She was a member of Means Baptist Church and was a Nurse Assistant for 27 years at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.

She is survived by son , James Edward Skidmore (Jennifer) of Means, KY; daughter, Teresa Lynn Skidmore (Greg Arnett) of Jeffersonville, KY; two sisters, Violet Elliott of Mt. Sterling, KY and Pearl Lewis of Mt. Sterling, KY; grandchildren, Josh and Megan Skidmore, Jeannetta and Dustin Heitzman, Mitchell and Brandi Crouch, Krista and Chris McClain, Jamie Lynn and Joe Rawlins, Tresa and Daniel Brewer, Jordan and Derek Ferrell and Mandolyn and Colton Coffey; twenty-two great children; a special family friend, Rose Threlkeld; and a host of nieces, nephew and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Margaret Covey; and great grandson, Bobby James Helton.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, August 29, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg with Gary Willoughby and Joey Rogers officiating, burial following at Willoughby Martin Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5 PM-7 PM, Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Frenchburg.  Pallbearers will be Josh Skidmore, Mitchell Crouch, Chris McClain, Jackalee Reed, Daniel Wells and Tony Wynn.  Honorary pallbearers Georgie Becraft, Thelma Shockey, Geneva Peeples, Rose Threlkeld, Judy Beer, Jane Prather, Sandy Wilson, Glenn Elliott, James Peeples, Larry Stull and Debbie Craver.
