Dorothy M. Dalton, 90, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Monday, May 26, 2025. She was born June 7, 1934 in Maytown, KY to the late Matt and Pearl Turner Jones. She attended Botts Christian Church in Menifee County KY, retired from Jockey International and The Whitings.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Hudson (Kim) of Jeffersonville, KY; stepsons, Ernie Dalton of Maytown, KY, Rodney Dalton (Jeri) of Irvine, KY, and Wayne Dalton (Teresa) of Versailles, KY; daughters, Connie Craig (Tony) of Jeffersonville, KY, Christine McCarty of Mt. Sterling, KY, and Melinda Reynolds of Jeffersonville, KY; son-in-law, Woodrow White of Mt. Sterling, KY; brothers, Charles Jones (Shirley) of Ohio and Gary Jones of Jeffersonville, KY; sisters, Geneva Devell (Bill) of North Carolina, Wilma Dailey (David) of Peebles, OH, Judith Rainey of Winchester, KY, Dixie Gould (Harold) of Winchester, KY, Kathy Jones (Lonnie) of Winchester, KY and Gloria Johnson (Bobby) of Winchester, KY; grandchildren, Darrell White, Chris White, Roger White, Lisa Muncie, Cynthia Wills, Belinda Reynolds, Misty Reynolds, Chris Roland and Timmy Roland; and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John William Dalton; son, Robert Hudson; daughters, Karen Diane White and Annie Roland; brothers, John Paul Jones and Marvin Jones; a sister, Mary Jones; and a grandchild, Robin McCarty.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Dalton officiating, burial following at Dalton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12 PM-1 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Pallbearers will be Roger White, Chris White, Darrell White, Travis Muncie, Adam Morris and Tanner White. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Jones, Gary Jones, Ernie Dalton, Rodney Dalton, Wayne Dalton, Junior White and Darlene Hudson.
