Dorothy Lee Daniel Jones, a long time resident of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky passed away on Friday October 20, 2023 at University of Kentucky Medical Hospital.  She was a borrowed angel & welcomed back home to heaven.

She was the widow of Charles William Jones, Mt Sterling and preceded in death by her parents Bradley Lee & Jessie Wyatt Daniel of Camargo, infant son Glenn David Jones, daughter Katherine Charlene Jones Patrick and brother Alger Thompson Daniel.

She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Diane Jones Johnson of Lexington, KY and Donna Lee Jones of Mt. Sterling Kentucky, a grandson James Mikael Johnson of Gainesville Florida & wife Dr. Jessica McQuerry Johnson and three loving great grandchildren, Remington Elizabeth and twins, Annabelle Katherine and William Woodrow Johnson of Gainesville, Florida.

Ms. Dorothy was surrounded by many family and friends in Mt. Sterling who lovingly looked after her and their gracious & generous friendship will always be much appreciated.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 pm and funeral services beginning at 1 pm held at the Mt. Sterling First United Methodist Church, Grassy Lick Rd Kentucky on Wednesday October 25, 2023 with private burial at Machpelah Cemetery, Mt. Sterling KY following church service. Taul Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
