Eddie "Chino" Lopez Moreno, 13, of Mt. Sterling passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022.  He was born December 3, 2008 in Mt. Sterling to Erasmo Moreno and Fabiola Lopez.  He loved showing horses (RMHA), riding horses, football and fishing.

He is survived by his parents, Erasmo "Toro" and Fabiola Lopez Moreno of Mt. Sterling, KY; sisters, Yesenia Moreno of Mt. Sterling, KY and Kassandra Moreno of Mt. Sterling, KY; grandfather, Alfredo Moreno of Mexico; uncles, Ramiro and Juana Moreno, Javier and Bertha Moreno, Juan and Yamasee Moreno and Alfredo and Claudia Moreno; aunts, Sandra and Jesus Flores-Lopez, Irma and Mario Rangel-Moreno, Carmen and Carlos Garcia-Moreno, Zocorro and Roberto Ibarra-Moreno, Graciela and Ramiro Lopez-Moreno and Esther and Zoccorro Estrada-Moreno; and special family friends, Pablo Gomez and Alvaro Moreno.

Visitation will be held 5-9 PM, Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Clay Community Center.  A private funeral service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Frank Brawner officiating, burial at St. Thomas Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Erasmo Moreno, Ramiro Moreno, Juan Moreno, Javier Moreno, Ramiro Moreno Jr., Jesus Moreno, Alvaro Moreno, Pablo Gomez, Carlos Melendez, Korbin Haas and William Duque.  Honorary pallbearers will be remaining Moreno family, Patrick family, Crowe family and Madrigal family.
