Edward "Eddie" Glenn Grimes, 82, of Sharpsburg passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022 at University of Kentucky Hospital.  He was born December 15, 1939 to the late Glenn C. Grimes and Nona Grace Taylor.  He was a member of Sharpsburg Christian Church, Farmer and retired from Hobart Corp.

He is survived by son, Edward Glenn Grimes, II (Kim) of Mt. Sterling, KY; daughter, Kim Grimes Ohl of Covington, KY; two grandchildren, Garrett Logan Grimes and Kenley Grace Grimes.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Alma S. Grimes; and a grandson, Harrison Clay Grimes.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Sharpsburg Christian Church with Johnny Baber officiating, burial following at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Friday, May 6, 2022 at Sharpsburg Christian Church.  Pallbearers will be Rex Rawlings, Alf Bailey, Shirley Grimes, Denny Grimes, Steve Calvert, Scott Ramey, Jerry Oney and Garrett Grimes.  Honorary pallbearers will be John Dunaway, Mart Razor, Dickie Hawkins, Mike Terry, Charles Judge, Bill Gillespe, Gene Gilvin, Marvin Vice and Jerry Schultz. .
