Edward "Eddie" Willoughby of Waverly, TN passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 19, 1949, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

Eddie dedicated 17 years of his life to Porcelain Industries where he excelled as a Plant Manager. His colleagues remember him fondly for his hard work and dedication to the company.

Eddie's life was filled with memorable moments. Among them, he was renowned for his skill as a tobacco cutter, showcasing not only his expertise but also his passion for his work. Outside of work, Eddie found joy in various hobbies and interests, including fishing, coon hunting, playing horseshoes, and poker with family and friends. These leisure activities brought him immense happiness and allowed him to create lasting memories with loved ones.

One of Eddie's proudest accomplishments was coaching baseball, softball, and basketball. He selflessly shared his knowledge and love for sports with younger generations, leaving a positive impact on the community through his mentorship and guidance.

Eddie will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00pm Tuesday, June 4th at Humphreys County Funeral Home and from 5:00 – 8:00pm Thursday, June 6th at Taul Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling, KY.

Funeral Services for Mr. Willoughby will be conducted at 11:00am Friday, June 7, 2024, at Taul Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling, KY.

Interment will follow in Machpelah Cemetery in Mt. Sterling, KY.
