Emma Jean Henry Gray passed away peacefully at home in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by her loving family on September 29, 2022, at the age 85.  Jean was born on December 19, 1936.  She is preceded in death by her devoted husband Benny Frank Gray, her parents Florence and Bedford Henry, sister Frances Henry Boyd, and brother Charles Henry.  She married Benny at the age of 19 and went on to have four children.  Jean was a dedicated full-time mother who also ran a successful business.  She enjoyed gardening and was admired for her "green thumb".  She was an avid photography with her own dark room and enjoyed developing pictures of the family.  It was always said of Jean that "she never met a person she didn't know."  She was strong in her faith, committed to her family, and lived life serving others.  She is survived by her children Vickie Gray Bitner of San Angelo, TX, Sandra Ramseur and Rodney Gray both of San Antonio, TX, and Julie Gray of New Braunfels, TX, and grandchildren Emme, Si, AJ, Daniel, Benny, Holly, and Austin as well as 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in San Antonio, Texas, on October 6.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 14, at 11:00 am at North Middletown Cemetery in North Middletown, KY, where she will be buried in the Henry family plot.
