Obituary

Eric Wayne Wilson, 57, of Lawrenceburg, KY passed on June 8, 2025.

Eric was born on March 14, 1968 in Mt. Sterling, KY to Ray and Faye Wilson. He was the youngest of their four children. Eric graduated from Montgomery County High School and attended the University of KY. He retired from Toyota Manufacturing in Georgetown. Eric had a bubbly personality and made friends with anyone he met. He was voted "life of the party" and always found a way to celebrate life. He loved fishing, roller coasters, and trying new restaurants. Eric enjoyed listening to all genres of music and going to concerts with his children. He cared deeply for his family, and spent most of the last few years with his devoted daughter, Hannah.

Eric was blessed with four children, Jordan Wilson, Erica Cornette (David), Hannah Rand (Wesley), and Levi Wilson (Joren), and nothing was more important to him. He was also Papaw to two grandchildren, Thomas Williams Cornette and Damien Wayne Cornette, and multiple grandpuppies who he showered with love.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Faye Wilson, of Mt. Sterling, and his brother Michael Wilson of Owingsville. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, his sister Ravenna Wasson, his brother Victor Wilson, and his niece and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m., family 4 to 5, at Taul Funeral Home in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the same location.

Eric is lovingly remembered for the way that he always found a way to make us laugh, and we will miss him every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him.
