Ester Tackett, 85, of Jeffersonville, KY passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care in Lexington, KY.  She was born March 17, 1939 in Menifee County, KY to the late Bud and Etta Hatton Rogers.  She attended Hope Church of God, was a Homemaker and a Farmer.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Ingram (Judy) of Jeffersonville, KY; brothers, Jackie Rogers of Jeffersonville, KY and her twin, Lester Rogers (Maxine) of Frenchburg, KY; grandchildren, Geramie Ingram (Courtney), Ryan Willimas (Allie), Jeffrey Kidd (Jessica), Tosha Hay (Brandon) and Jake Williams (Rachel); grandchildren, Kamryn, Sadie, Lucy Elizabeth, Tristan, Ella, Roland and Lucy Faye.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Robert Tackett; daughter, Sheila Kiser; brother, Albert Rogers; and a grandson, Jason Williams.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, November 22, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel Mt. Sterling with Rev. Glennis Sizemore officiating, burial following at Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11 AM-1 PM, Friday, November 22, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel, Mt. Sterling.  Pallbearers will be Gerald Ingram, Geramie Ingram, Ryan Williams, Jeffrey Kidd, Brandon Hay and Jake Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Lester Rogers, Jackie Rogers, Vernon Martin and Vernon Rogers.
