Ethel Thomas Boling, 82, of Mt. Sterling, KY passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at her home.
Born on November 22, 1937 in Bath County, She was the daughter of the late Arnold and Sullie Mae Jones Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Letrice Eugene Boling; and her brother, Arnold Clay Thomas. Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Campbellsville, KY. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved nothing more than cooking and loving her family. She loved spending her mornings on her patio drinking coffee and watching the birds and wildlife in her backyard. She ended each day reading her bible.
She is survived by two daughters, Glenda Guiler-Dawson of Lexington, KY and Theresa Goebel (Harold) of Mt. Sterling, KY; six grandchildren, Matthew Guiler (Jess), Adam Wills (Tabbitha), Kelle Conlon (Jason), John Goebel (Kelly), Stephanie Jones (Charles) and Karyn Goebel; twenty-one great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. Also survived by one sister-in-law, Judy Thomas, one nephew, Anthony Thomas (Michelle); one niece, Lesley Elam, one double cousin, Roger Thomas (Shirley); one dear friend, Brenda Stroub; and extended family, too numerous to mention by name.
A memorial service to be held 11 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held 10 AM- 11 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
