Everett Johnson, 86, of Mt. Sterling passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Windsor Care Center.  He was born April 27, 1937 in Montgomery County, KY to Albert Johnson and Eva Shepherd.  He was a Farmer and from Hinkle Construction as a Highway Forman.  He liked to fish and spend time with family.

He is survived by a brother, Lloyd Johnson of Mt. Sterling, KY; and a niece, Eva Shanks of Jeffersonville, KY.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Frank Johnson, Robert Johnson and Delmar Johnson; and sisters, Bert Johnson and Bett Johnson.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 1, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Evans officiating, burial following at Longview Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11 AM-1PM, Monday, April 1, 2024 at Taul Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be Clyde Johnson, Albert Johnson, George Johnson, Brent Shanks, Timothy Johnson and Christopher Johnson.
